This is a picture of Chloe right after her second shunt-placement surgery. You can see the place on her tummy where they made an incision to place the downstream-end of the tube.
And she's got a little splint on her right arm to keep her from bending her wrist, where they put in an IV.
The cloth over her face is to protect her eyes from the brightness of the lights in the NICU at Primary Children's Medical Center (in Salt Lake, where they performed the surgery), since her eyes were still kind of weird from the anesthesia.
